There are piles of cheaper skateboards in popular skateboarding. Some are cheap to look at, but others have trusted brands or even recommendations for professional skateboarders. How do you know that a cheaper skateboard that you found at a local department store or sporting goods section is a good skateboard or not?
It usually depends on how serious you think about skateboards. If you happen to want to skate from time to time, then one of these cheaper skateboards would come in handy. However, if you want to make sure that you have the best possible starting experience, and if you think that you will skate more than once, then it is advisable to buy a professional skateboard. . . But how do you know if the cheaper skateboard you’re looking for is crowded or not? Some things must be remember always.
Skateboard wheels
Look at the skateboard wheels. Are they plastic? If so, drop the board and continue – plastic wheels will give you and your children a great skateboarding experience. Skateboard wheels should be made of urethane, not plastic or rubber. The plastic wheels do not stick to the ground and you cannot control it. Check bearings

For skateboards get ABEC 5 or 7 (ratings are only odd numbers). Anything under ABEC 5 is not a good idea because you will start sacrificing too much accuracy. ABEC 1 is more than just an ABEC rating. This is junk.
If the wheels do not turn freely or have no grinding sound, then just replace the bearings on the skateboard as soon as you purchase this skateboard.
Check the trucks on board
Trucks are the “axis” of a skateboard. It should be made of strong metal, but not only of painted heavy metal. The heavier the trucks, the heavier the whole skateboard – and you don’t want it to be too heavy, or you can’t do good tricks. The simple rule is that trucks should have a brand name stamped on them. Take a look at that brand and make sure it’s real! Without a brand name, trucks are likely to be crowded. There should be rubber cans in the trucks – make sure they are really rubber, not plastic. If you can, try to stand on the skateboard and lean on the toe and heel. The board should bend a little on each side, but not too much. Just a little.
Skateboard deck
If you are not sure what to look for, it is difficult to check this section. Basically, you want to make sure that the deck is made of layers of wood that are joined together and that the edges are round and well treated. However, this is a difficult part to control. If there is information on the bulletin board, such as a field, check it. “Plush” is cut wood that is put together to form a skateboard deck. The industry standard is 7 police officers in Maple. The less police you have, the weaker the board, but also the more flexible and lighter. The more police you have, the stronger the board, but it is also heavier and less flexible. The charts below may look painted – no problem! Graphics are the least worry when buying a cheap board. Don’t cheat if they are good and don’t ignore the board if the graphics are lame.
You can also stand on a skateboard, place both feet near the center and slowly jump up and down. The board should bend under your weight, but not too much.
Price consideration
It’s the hardest now. If the skateboard you see is less than $ 30, discard it and continue fishing. It may be superficial, but quality skateboards are made of high quality materials and it is almost impossible to describe an entire skateboard made without $ 30. In fact, if it’s under $ 50, there’s a good chance you’ll replace the parts soon. However, if you are good at it, one of the cheaper mass-produced skateboards may come in handy.
