By following the step-by-step process, you can eliminate dirt off your bathtub. Here are the 6 simple steps:

Step- 1: Prepare the Tools

You will need some supplies and tools to clean your bathtub. Make them prepare before you start cleaning. It will make your cleaning process much easier and faster. You will need the following items for cleaning a tub:

  • Baking soda
  • Vinegar
  • Tub cleaner
  • Art brush or scrub sponge
  • Stiff cleaning brush
  • A medium-sized brush
  • Dish soap
  • Ammonia

Please make sure they are ready and on standby to be used.

Step- 2: Pour Water into the Bathtub

After your supplies are ready, you have to start the cleaning process. The first step is to pour water into your bathtub. You should use hot water because hot water speeds up the process and softens the buildups fast. You have to dump the water all over the tub, making sure every part of it is watered.

Then you have to drain the water. If the drain becomes clogged, use baking soda and white vinegar mixture to clear it.

Step- 3: Spread Baking Soda

Baking soda is a staple for household cleaning and can scrub everything off. It can remove stains and buildups from the bathtub. Take some baking soda and spread them all over the tub. Make sure every inch of the soaking tub is covered with it.

Baking soda works up to a certain level. If you have a super dirty tub, try using tub & tile cleaner.

Step- 4: Scrub Your Bathtub

In this stage, pour some hot water into a bucket and mix a few tablespoons of dish soap. Now take a non-abrasive sponge. You can use a large Mop paintbrush if you do not have a sponge. Take the sponge or the brush and dish soap mixed water to scrub your tub. Make sure no spot remains untouched. Make sure all the buildups and stains are removed.

Step- 5: Wash the Bathtub with Water

Now it is time to wash your bathtub with water. Take a bucket full of water and rinse the tub all around. Make sure no dirt remains on the tub. You can use a jet sprayer as well. It can be fun!

Step- 6: Clean Faucet

Finally, clean the faucet, handles, and drain. Make sure it does not clog the water. Use baking soda and white vinegar to clean the faucet and handles. After cleaning all of it, let the tub dry.
